Ask a PT
Resources from the American Physical Therapy Association

The American Physical Therapy Association is a national professional organization representing more than 74,000 members. Its goal is to foster advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and education. They provide services to consumers that are helpful and can help you make informed healthcare decisions. One of the many services they provide consumers is Ask a PT.

stretchThe purpose of the Ask a PT is to provide consumers with the opportunity to send their questions to a panel of APTA physical therapists. The group will select a certain number of questions each month that are representative of a broad spectrum of consumer health issues. Responses to questions are posted by categories. You will be able to search responses for information to guide you or even post a question that may receive a response from the panel.
